Bluecoat Beechdale Academy
Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, under the umbrella of the Archway Learning Trust, recently secured £1.1 million in funding to enhance its heating system through the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. Recognising the need for a more sustainable and energy-efficient solution, the academy aimed to replace its ageing gas boilers with modern air source heat pumps. This initiative aligned with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero's vision for cleaner, more cost-effective, and renewable energy sources in the public sector.
Learie Constantine Community Centre
The Learie Constantine Community Centre project, valued at £13.6 million, involved the demolition of an existing building to pave the way for the construction of 26 new homes. These homes, comprising one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, were meticulously designed to meet the diverse needs of the community. EMS was entrusted with the critical task of providing full plumbing services for the fit-out of these residential units.
Dolphin Square Redevelopment Project
In the ambitious Dolphin Square Redevelopment project, the main contractor, Galliford Try Construction, orchestrated the transformation of this historic riverside estate in Pimlico. The Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contract, including crucial plumbing works, was awarded to LJJ Contractors Limited. EMS, in turn, served as a subcontractor to LJJ Contractors Limited, providing essential plumbing services for the refurbishment of 97 apartments within the estate.
